LMNTRIX

LMNTRIX provides managed detection and response (MDR) services with an "Active Defense" approach that emphasizes continuous monitoring and threat hunting rather than perimeter-focused security. The company was founded by Carlo Minassian, who previously built an MSSP that became a Gartner Magic Quadrant leader before being acquired by Dimension Data.

The LMNTRIX platform combines endpoint detection and response (EDR), network detection and response (NDR), cloud security, mobile security, and IoT/OT security capabilities. The service includes deception technology deployed across networks, endpoints, and servers to create misleading environments that immobilize attackers by making gathered data unreliable.

The company operates on the assumption that networks are already compromised and require continuous monitoring and remediation.

LMNTRIX delivers 24/7 security operations through a cyber defense center staffed by security analysts who perform threat hunting, investigation, and response activities. The service incorporates global threat intelligence, analytics, deep and dark web monitoring, and automated attack validation. Additional capabilities include packet capture for forensics, SIEM integration, identity security, and reconnaissance services.

The company also offers offensive security services including penetration testing, red team assessments, adversary simulation, compromise assessments, and security assessments for AI, cloud, web applications, Active Directory, and industrial control systems.

LMNTRIX serves businesses across various environments including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft platforms, and maintains partner programs for MSSPs, cyber risk partners, technology alliances, and channel partners.
