GuardDog AI

GuardDog AI (legally Guard Dog Solutions, Inc.) is a cybersecurity company founded in 2017 that develops AI-driven threat detection and automated incident response solutions. The company's core product is deployed as a container, designed to integrate within cloud and Kubernetes environments to provide real-time threat detection and automated containment without requiring significant changes to existing infrastructure.

The platform operates by detecting and isolating threats autonomously, reducing attack response time from what the company describes as an industry average of 4 days down to approximately 6 minutes. The solution is positioned as a container-based approach that combines real-time threat and exploit detection with automated response capabilities, and integrates with existing security tools used by organizations.

GuardDog AI targets a range of customers and partners including DevSecOps teams, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), and service providers. The company has announced a collaboration with Red Hat and maintains a channel partner program.

Its product, known as "Fido," has received recognition including the CyberSecurity Breakthrough Award for IoT Security Innovation and the CE Pro-Commercial Integrator Top New Technology Award.

The company addresses security challenges stemming from expanded attack surfaces, including remote work environments, unmanaged networks, and IoT device proliferation. Its solution is designed for easy deployment, with protection activating upon container deployment to a network, and includes cloud-based management features such as threat scoring, logging, and analytics.
