Anonomatic

Anonomatic provides a SaaS API platform for data anonymization and privacy compliance, built around their proprietary PII Vault technology. The company's core offering enables organizations to poly-anonymize personally identifiable information (PII) within datasets while maintaining the ability to perform analytics, AI, and machine learning operations on the protected data.

The technology originated from a four-year project with The L.A. Trust for Children's Health, where Anonomatic designed and built the Data xChange system. This system poly-anonymized half a billion medical and academic records for the Los Angeles Unified School District's 100+ healthcare service facilities, enabling anonymous matching at the individual level while preserving data utility for analysis.

The company's PII Vault solution addresses privacy compliance challenges across industries where PII handling is critical. By separating personally identifiable information from analytical datasets, the platform allows organizations to conduct data science initiatives without the restrictions typically imposed by privacy regulations.

The solution is delivered as a Software-as-a-Service API, making it accessible to enterprises seeking to merge, analyze, or share sensitive data while maintaining compliance with privacy requirements.

Anonomatic serves organizations across multiple sectors including healthcare, education, and other industries that handle large volumes of personal data. The company was founded by Matt Fleck and Neil Heller, who recognized the broader applicability of their anonymization technology beyond the initial healthcare and academic use case.
