Straiker

Straiker is the agentic AI security company purpose-built to protect enterprises as they deploy AI agents at scale. Founded by Ankur Shah (CEO) and Sreenath Kurupati (CTO), Straiker launched from stealth in early 2025 with $21 million in funding from Lightspeed Ventures and Bain Capital Ventures, and has since become one of the fastest-growing companies in the AI security space.

The company's core thesis is that traditional security tools weren't built for the agentic era, where AI systems can reason, plan, and take autonomous actions across complex tool chains and data sources. Straiker addresses this with a three-product platform designed to give security teams full visibility and control across the AI agent lifecycle, covering coding agents, productivity agents, and custom-built agents.

Discover AI, launched at RSAC 2026, provides agent inventory and risk detection. It automatically identifies AI agents, MCP servers, and connected tools across coding platforms, productivity suites, and agent frameworks, giving security teams a centralized view of what agents exist, where they run, and what systems they can access. It also detects misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and vulnerabilities across more than 12,000 MCP entries.

Ascend AI delivers the highest attack success rate in the industry through continuous red-teaming and in-depth attack simulations against AI applications and agents. Straiker's AI engine is trained on a unique agentic dataset and supports frontier labs with pre-release agentic testing, which continuously improves attack success rates and informs stronger runtime defenses.

Defend AI provides runtime protection, automatically blocking prompt injection attacks, tool misuse, and other threats across live agent deployments, with 98.1% threat detection accuracy.

Within its first year of commercial operations, Straiker secured global enterprises and frontier AI labs, achieving multiple six- and seven-figure customer engagement.
