RazorSecure

RazorSecure is a UK-based cybersecurity company founded in 2015, specializing exclusively in cybersecurity solutions for the rail industry. The company focuses on protecting rolling stock, signalling systems, and rail infrastructure using a hybrid network and host-based security approach.

RazorSecure offers a portfolio of dedicated products tailored to the rail sector: the Security Gateway, Delta, Digital Maintenance Gateway, and Echo. These products are designed to address the specific cybersecurity challenges of rail networks and critical transportation infrastructure.

The company has deployed its solutions across over 23 distinct rail fleets worldwide and claims to have protected over 500 million passenger journeys. Its solutions are built to secure both onboard rolling stock systems and broader rail network infrastructure.

The company has received backing from investors including Wentworth, Mainport Innovation Fund, Breed Reply, and the GCHQ/Wayra Accelerator — the latter being associated with the UK's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). RazorSecure was also a runner-up in the UK's Most Innovative Small Cyber Security Company competition at InfoSecurity Europe.

The company is headquartered in the UK and is led by CEO and Founder Alex Cowan, alongside a leadership team that includes a CTO, CFO, and heads of business development and people operations.
