Privafy

Privafy is a Boston-based cybersecurity company that provides a cloud-native, unified security platform for protecting data-in-motion across endpoints, networks, clouds, and applications. The company's integrated platform combines multiple security functions including Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW), Next-Generation VPN (NGVPN), antivirus, and anti-malware capabilities into a single solution managed from one dashboard.

The platform utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to provide threat detection and response capabilities. Privafy serves multiple market segments including mobile service providers, IoT manufacturers, and enterprises, with a focus on securing remote workforces and distributed environments.

In 2023, Privafy announced a joint venture with Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE) to establish METRAS, a company focused on delivering Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions in Saudi Arabia. This partnership aims to localize cybersecurity technologies and build national capabilities in the region.

The company was founded with the mission to address outdated approaches to data security, particularly for organizations dealing with work-from-anywhere environments and expanding IoT device deployments. Privafy's approach consolidates multiple security tools that traditionally required separate deployments into a unified service architecture.
