Levo

Levo.ai provides runtime security for API-driven and AI applications. The company was founded in 2021 by Buchi Reddy, who previously worked at AppDynamics and Traceable. The platform embeds security practices directly into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) through automated discovery, visibility, and protection capabilities.

The company's runtime security engine operates at the kernel level, providing passive observability and dynamic security testing for APIs in production environments. In 2025, Levo extended its runtime security capabilities to cover AI applications, including agents, LLMs, MCP servers, and autonomous toolchains. This expansion addresses risks such as machine-to-machine calls, prompt injection, data leakage, and privilege misuse in AI systems.

Levo's customer base includes enterprises across North America and India, with deployments in regulated industries such as financial services and insurance. Notable customers include Square, AngelOne, Axis Finance, Axis Bank, Five9, and the Insurance Information Bureau of India. The platform is designed for organizations that need to secure complex, distributed architectures without slowing down development velocity.

The company is backed by Foundation Capital, Essence, and Firebolt Ventures. Levo's approach focuses on continuous, contextual security that integrates with existing development workflows rather than requiring separate security reviews or manual documentation processes.
