Legion Security

Legion Security is an AI-focused cybersecurity company that develops AI-powered security workers designed for Security Operations Center (SOC) environments. The company's core product, Legion, functions as an AI companion that learns from the actual behavior and workflows of human security analysts, rather than relying on pre-built playbooks or generic pre-trained models.

By capturing how a specific security team operates, the platform scales that team's institutional knowledge and analytical patterns.

The company's approach centers on behavioral learning — the idea that an AI system must understand how a particular organization's analysts work before it can be trusted to assist or automate tasks on their behalf. This positions Legion as a tailored, adaptive tool rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.

Legion Security was founded by a team with backgrounds in building enterprise security tooling, including experience with Microsoft Sentinel and generative AI research. The team describes having hands-on experience leading SOC teams and building security tools used at scale.

The company is backed by investors including Picture Capital, Accel, and Coatue. Customers and users noted on the site include individuals from organizations such as CrowdStrike, Wiz, Island, Google DeepMind, and Transmit Security.

Legion Security targets security operations teams looking to extend analyst capacity through AI that adapts to their specific workflows. The company is early-stage and actively hiring. They are scheduled to appear at RSA Conference 2026 in San Francisco.
