Invary

Invary is a cybersecurity company focused on runtime integrity verification of software stacks. The company's core technology is based on an exclusive IP license from the NSA's Laboratory for Advanced Cybersecurity Research, with whom Invary maintains an active research partnership.

The technology is designed to ensure that software running on a system has not been tampered with or compromised, providing continuous integrity assurance at the kernel level.

Invary's approach targets a gap in traditional security tooling by verifying the integrity of running software rather than relying solely on pre-execution checks. The company describes its mission as ensuring customers know their software stack is running with integrity at all times. This positions the product within zero trust and runtime security frameworks, with a noted emphasis on kernel-level visibility.

The company integrates with several technology platforms and partners, including Datadog, Red Hat, and Tines, indicating deployment within enterprise security operations workflows. Invary is also a member of the Confidential Computing Consortium and the Cloud Security Alliance.

Partners include Alexander Cyber, Center for Internet Security (CIS), Mission Defense Solutions, Tenfold Security, and Vibrint, the latter focused on kernel-level zero trust solutions.

Invary is backed by investors including Hyperlink Ventures, Flyover Capital, KCRise Fund, Royal Street Ventures, and SineWave Ventures. The advisory board includes former NSA researchers, a retired CIA senior intelligence executive, and executives from companies such as Cloudflare and Microsoft. The company collaborates with federal and university partners, including the University of Kansas.
