Hilt, operated by Cybe Corporation, is a data movement governance platform designed to detect and prevent data breaches by monitoring data flows across cloud, endpoint, and network environments.

The platform addresses a gap in traditional security tooling — where DLP, EDR, SIEM, UEBA, and CASB each operate within isolated scopes — by correlating telemetry across all three domains simultaneously. Hilt collects proprietary kernel-level telemetry using eBPF from cloud workloads, behavioral sensors from endpoints, and wire-level capture from network traffic, feeding all three streams into a centralized anomaly detection engine.

Rather than relying on policy violations or known signatures, Hilt's behavioral models flag statistically anomalous data movement patterns — such as unusual file access times, data egress to external destinations, or departing employee activity — even when credentials and permissions are valid and no explicit policy has been broken.
