Gyala

Gyala is an Italian cybersecurity company that develops automated cyber defense technology for IT, OT, and IoT infrastructures. The company's core product is Agger, a platform designed to detect, react to, and defend against cyber threats in real time, operating continuously (24/7) without manual intervention.

Agger is built on AI technology with origins in military-grade systems and provides automated detection and reaction capabilities that can be customized at the individual endpoint level. The platform supports complex querying and TAG-based visualization and search organization. Version 3.0 of Agger is described as an AI-driven control and reaction solution for infrastructures.

Gyala targets multiple vertical markets, developing specific product configurations for different sectors. The company has documented use cases in healthcare (including a Zero Trust deployment at ASL Viterbo), manufacturing, and critical infrastructure environments involving industrial OT systems. Their approach addresses the convergence of IT and OT/IoT environments under a single unified solution.

The company positions its technology as domestically sovereign, emphasizing Italian origin and development as a strategic consideration in the context of geopolitical risk. Gyala is recognized among Italian cybersecurity startups for its AI-based automated detection and reaction capabilities.

Key focus areas include protection of critical infrastructure, cyber resilience, defense against threats such as infostealers and Living Off The Land (LOTL) attacks, and secure remote access in OT environments.
