Freeze

Freeze operates as a proactive offensive security company that focuses on preventing cyberattacks before they occur. The company's approach centers on identifying, removing, and stopping the spread of information about organizations and their employees that exists outside the corporate perimeter.

The platform addresses the problem of publicly available data that fuels phishing, social engineering, and other attack vectors. Freeze monitors and removes organizational and employee information that attackers typically source, trade, and weaponize from the global data economy. This includes data that exists beyond traditional network boundaries and security controls.

The company's methodology is based on understanding how threat actors gather intelligence and prepare attacks. By proactively finding and eliminating this information before it can be used maliciously, Freeze aims to reduce the attack surface related to human targets within organizations.

The service is particularly focused on protecting against AI-powered attacks that leverage publicly available data to create scalable, dynamic, and sophisticated social engineering campaigns.

Freeze raised $2.6 million in seed funding to develop its offensive security approach. The company was founded by professionals with backgrounds in network security, data center protection, and experience with data economy practices. Their solution targets businesses facing risks from the increasing availability of organizational data combined with AI-enabled attack capabilities.
