Ermes Cyber Security

Ermes Cyber Security is an Italian cybersecurity company headquartered in Turin, Italy, focused on browser and web security for businesses. The company develops AI-powered solutions designed to protect users from web-based threats encountered during everyday browsing activity.

Their core product, Ermes Intelligent Web Protection, uses real-time analysis of web behavior to detect and block threats. A key component of their technology is the "0Day Protection" capability, which leverages Ensemble Learning algorithms that analyze hundreds of features to identify phishing sites 48–72 hours before they are reported or classified by traditional solutions.

This approach targets short-lived phishing sites — malicious pages with extremely brief life cycles that evade conventional security tools such as antivirus software, antispam filters, and firewalls.

Ermes has developed over 10 proprietary AI algorithms specifically designed for web and browser security. The platform processes millions of domains per day, detecting web design patterns typical of malicious pages with the goal of providing proactive protection against zero-day phishing attacks.

The company holds ISO 27001 certification and has received a 4.7 rating on Gartner Peer Insights in the Security Service Edge market category. Ermes has received €7.5 million in investment and employs a team of over 40 specialists in AI and web security. Their solutions are positioned for enterprise use, enabling employees to browse safely while reducing human risk exposure from phishing and other web-based threats.
