CYSEC

CYSEC is a Swiss cybersecurity company founded in 2018 by Patrick Trinkler and Yacine Felk. The company specializes in data protection with a focus on confidential computing, securing data-in-use, and cybersecurity for space assets.

CYSEC's flagship product is ARCA Trusted OS, a confidential computing solution designed to protect data-in-use — the state in which data is considered most vulnerable to attack. This product is built for environments where corporate data is processed in public clouds or at the edge, addressing the security risks that arise in those contexts.

Beyond general confidential computing, CYSEC has developed a dedicated focus on space cybersecurity, providing cybersecurity tools for the space asset market. Their portfolio consists of three main product lines targeting this sector, which encompasses satellites, ground systems, and related infrastructure.

The company was founded by entrepreneurs with backgrounds in cryptography and cybersecurity, leveraging over 20 years of combined experience in those fields. The founders previously made an exit with a quantum technology venture originating from the University of Geneva.

CYSEC also organizes CYSAT, described as the largest European event dedicated to space cybersecurity, reflecting the company's role in the broader space security community.

Their target markets include organizations operating in cloud and edge computing environments, as well as entities with space-based infrastructure that require cybersecurity protections for satellites and related assets.
