Cervello

Cervello is a cybersecurity company specializing in protecting railway and broader OT (operational technology) environments from cyber threats. The company was founded by veterans of Israeli intelligence units (Unit 8200 and the Israeli Security Agency) with backgrounds in critical infrastructure protection and industrial cybersecurity.

Cervello's core offering is an OT risk exposure platform that provides network visibility, protocol intelligence, and AI-driven analysis to identify, prioritize, and explain operational and cyber risks across OT environments and IT/OT convergence layers.

The platform includes capabilities such as intrusion detection, anomaly detection, asset discovery, attack path modeling, and risk scoring. It supports analysis of both standard and proprietary industrial protocols at the packet and session level.

The platform is primarily positioned for the railway sector, with customers including Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), Thales Austria, ST Engineering, Finconcs Group, and the European Rail CSIRT initiative (4SECURail). Cervello is also active in broader critical infrastructure OT security contexts.

The company's research team drives detection logic, behavioral models, and AI/ML-based approaches to risk analysis. Cervello holds multiple patents globally and has received industry awards and recognitions. It maintains active memberships in multiple industry associations relevant to railway and OT cybersecurity. The company is headquartered in Israel and operates globally through partnerships with system integrators and rail operators.
