Xiid

Xiid is an enterprise network security company founded in 2018 that developed a proprietary Zero Knowledge Networking (ZKN) architecture. The company addresses security challenges created by the rapid growth of hybrid-cloud systems and the need to secure disparate resources outside traditional network perimeters.

The ZKN architecture consolidates identity and data access management functions for on-premises, hybrid-cloud, and multi-cloud domains. The solution manages edge-device and cloud resource access while providing access control capabilities across distributed enterprise environments. The platform is designed to work across multiple deployment models including on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructures.

The company was founded by a team combining Silicon Valley business expertise and European network security engineering experience. CEO Steve Visconti has over 30 years of technology experience including roles at Cisco Systems, Airespace, and other networking companies.

CTO Federico Simonetti previously taught operating systems security at the University of Milan and developed anti-terrorism systems for Italian law enforcement. Chief Engineer Guido Pellizzer created real-time lawful interception and decoding software used by European police forces.

Xiid targets enterprise organizations that need to manage security across distributed network environments and multiple cloud platforms. The company's approach focuses on consolidating various security and access functions into a unified architecture.
