threatER

threatER is a cybersecurity company that provides preemptive threat protection solutions designed to block known threats at the network level before they reach an organization's existing security infrastructure.

The company's platform operates inline between the internet and a customer's firewall, using threat intelligence to segment traffic — allowing trusted traffic, denying untrusted traffic, and passing remaining traffic to downstream security controls.

threatER's product portfolio includes several components. threatER Enforce is the core solution, providing preemptive threat blocking using aggregated threat intelligence feeds. threatER EnforceDNS is a Protective DNS (PDNS) solution that automates threat response across workloads and IoT devices, incorporating DNS security and content filtering.

The company recently acquired the HYAS Protect assets to expand its DNS security capabilities. threatER Collect is a free, centralized SaaS platform for aggregating threat intelligence and security data. threatER Marketplace provides access to third-party threat intelligence feeds and security integrations via API.

The platform is designed to reduce alert noise for downstream tools such as firewalls and SIEMs by eliminating a large volume of known-bad traffic before it reaches those systems. It supports deployment flexibility and targets small businesses, enterprises, managed service providers (MSPs), and remote workforces.

The company maintains a partner program that includes MSP-specific arrangements and an integration with AIG. threatER reports blocking billions of threats per week across its customer base.
