Teleport

Teleport is an Infrastructure Identity Platform that provides identity-based access control for modern infrastructure environments. The company's platform delivers cryptographic identity, zero trust access, and governance for humans, machines, and AI agents accessing infrastructure resources across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

The platform addresses the security challenges created by static credentials, standing privileges, and overprivileged accounts in complex computing environments. Teleport's solution consolidates access management across infrastructure resources, reducing attack surface while improving engineering velocity.

The company recently introduced an Agentic Identity Framework designed to secure AI agents operating in production infrastructure with cryptographic identity and zero trust access controls.

Teleport serves organizations in AI, fintech, cloud security, and high-performance computing sectors. The platform is designed to handle infrastructure access at scale, providing unified identity management that works across network boundaries and diverse infrastructure types. The company's approach focuses on reducing complexity in access management while strengthening security posture against both human error and malicious compromise.

The company was founded by Ev Kontsevoy, Alexander Klizhentas, and Taylor Wakefield, and is backed by investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins, Insight Partners, and S Capital. Teleport is headquartered in Oakland, California and has been recognized as an AWS Rising Star Partner of the Year in 2025.
