MailChannels

MailChannels is an email security and delivery company that provides services to hosting providers, service providers, and businesses to protect their email infrastructure. The company focuses on preventing outbound spam, identifying malicious senders, and ensuring reliable email delivery.

MailChannels serves a broad customer base, with its clients collectively hosting approximately 7.5% of all websites globally. The company operates primarily in a B2B capacity, targeting web hosting companies, managed service providers, and similar organizations that need to manage large volumes of outbound email on behalf of their customers.

Core offerings include outbound spam filtering, which prevents compromised accounts or malicious users on a hosting platform from sending spam through shared infrastructure. This protects the sender reputation of hosting providers and ensures legitimate email is delivered reliably. The company also provides tools to identify bad actors within a network, helping providers take action against abusive users.

MailChannels is a member of industry associations focused on email and messaging abuse, including MAAWG (Messaging, Malware and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group) and APWG (Anti-Phishing Working Group), reflecting its involvement in broader anti-abuse and anti-phishing efforts within the email ecosystem.

The company is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, with additional offices in Seattle, USA, and Kochi, India.
