Hideez

Hideez is a cybersecurity company founded in 2017 that develops hardware and software solutions for passwordless authentication and identity management. The company was established after its CEO experienced a personal cybersecurity breach, which led to the creation of the Hideez Key — a multifunctional hardware security device combining wireless authentication, password management, and proximity-based PC access in a single compact tool.

Hideez offers an enterprise-grade platform built around passwordless identity management, supporting device-native biometrics, physical security keys, and integration with third-party FIDO2 keys. The platform includes Passwordless Single Sign-On (SSO) and proximity-based authentication capabilities designed for workforce environments.

The solution bridges digital and physical access control, enabling organizations to manage both logical and physical entry through a unified system.

The company holds FIDO2 and FIDO U2F certifications and is a member of the FIDO Alliance. Its solutions have been validated for use in government and sensitive industry environments. Hideez has facilitated over 500,000 passwordless logins for its clients and supports more than 100 custom use cases and integrations.

Hideez targets organizations seeking to transition away from password-based authentication, serving customers globally across sectors including government and enterprise. The company has received backing from Google for Startups, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and the European Innovation Council. Advisors include security professionals from Google and the FIDO Alliance.
