## What is Privafy NetEdgeConnect?

Privafy NetEdgeConnect is cloud-based security software that installs on ISP or carrier-owned routers to provide real-time security across enterprise and consumer devices. The software protects data-in-motion as it passes through routers to and from connected devices.

NetEdgeConnect automatically detects each user and device on the network and applies security policies based on those identities. For enterprises, it identifies device types in real-time (printers, security cameras, laptops) and applies appropriate security policies. For home users, it distinguishes between different devices like smart TVs and smartphones to enable customized security and parental controls.

The product includes a client-side app that installs on smartphones, tablets, and laptops, allowing users to manage security settings from touchscreen devices. As a cloud-based solution, software updates, key rotation, and patches are automatically managed and pushed to connected devices without user intervention.

NetEdgeConnect provides protection against malware, phishing, data theft, and DDoS attacks through a shared threat intelligence network. The software supports various versions of LinuxOS and provides bi-directional interfaces for interaction between the host system and NetEdgeConnect.
