## What is Opsis OSINT?

Opsis OSINT is a hosted open-source intelligence (OSINT) search platform for investigators and security analysts. Given an email address, username or domain, it checks 1,000+ sources in real time and returns the accounts it finds with names, photos, bios, locations, follower counts and linked accounts. Every result links to its source, so findings can be checked by hand.

Opsis counts an account only when the site returns real profile evidence, an approach designed to keep false positives out of reports. According to Opsis, its most recent run of 1,000+ modules produced zero false positives against known fake accounts. Sources that do not respond are labelled rather than reported as "not found".

Key capabilities:
- Reverse email lookup: find the accounts registered to an email address
- Username search across 1,000+ sites
- Domain lookup: WHOIS, ownership history and related domains
- Verified profiles with names, photos, bios, locations, stats and linked accounts
- A source link on every result
- Free lookup tools for Steam, Xbox, Instagram, GitHub, Twitch, FACEIT, Epic Games and Duolingo
- REST API and an MCP server that lets Claude, ChatGPT and other AI agents run Opsis searches

Typical uses include investigating the person or group behind a phishing email or scam account, mapping a threat actor's accounts from a single username, due diligence and fraud investigations, and reviewing one's own digital footprint.

Opsis runs in the browser with nothing to install. It relies on public sources only, does not use breach databases, never logs in to anyone's account and never notifies the person being searched. It is not intended for employment, tenant or credit screening.

Comparable tools include OSINT Industries, Epieos, Maigret, Sherlock and WhatsMyName.

Pricing: free lookup tools and a free email quick check with an account. Starter $14.99/month, Basic $24.99/month with deep search, Pro $49.99/month with API access.
