## What is GRFICS?

GRFICS is a graphical realism framework for industrial control simulations that utilizes Unity 3D game engine graphics to create accessible industrial control system security training environments.

The framework provides users with a complete virtual industrial control system (ICS) network environment for practicing cybersecurity skills. Users can execute common attack techniques including command injection, man-in-the-middle attacks, and buffer overflow exploits while observing the visual impact of their actions through 3D visualization.

The platform also supports defensive security training, allowing users to practice network segmentation with firewall rule configuration and develop intrusion detection rules. The framework was developed by researchers from Fortiphyd Logic and the Georgia Institute of Technology to make practical ICS security skills more accessible to a broader audience.
