Certified Cloud Native Security Expert (CCNSE) is a professional certification program that teaches cloud-native security concepts with emphasis on Kubernetes cluster security. The course covers offensive and defensive security techniques for Kubernetes environments, including hacking and defending clusters, authentication mechanisms, RBAC optimization, zero-trust network implementation, and elimination of misconfigurations. The certification is structured as a self-paced learning program with browser-based lab access and 24/7 instructor support. Students learn through hands-on exercises covering the 4C's of Cloud-Native Security: Cloud, Clusters, Containers, and Code. The curriculum includes security and threat modeling for cloud-native technologies, container security topics such as vulnerability management and supply chain attacks, and implementation of least privilege principles. Course prerequisites include basic Linux command knowledge, understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, and optionally basic container technology and Kubernetes knowledge. The program is designed to be completed within 60 days and includes lifetime course support through Mattermost. Upon completion, participants receive the Certified Cloud Native Security Expert certification.
