Sandboxie Plus is an open-source, sandbox-based isolation tool for Windows. It runs applications inside isolated sandbox environments, preventing changes made by programs from persisting on the host system. The project consists of two UI variants: the legacy Classic UI (no longer under active development) and the SandMan UI, which receives all new features and functionality. New core features are exclusively exposed through the SandMan UI. Sandboxie Plus offers a tiered licensing model with a free tier for personal use and several paid tiers (Home, Personal, Family Pack, Developer, Business, Eternal). Commercial and educational use requires a Business Certificate. A separate Advanced Feature Pack unlocks Sandbox Encryption, Proxy Injection, and DNS Filtering beyond the standard supporter certificate.
