Karamba XGuard Monitor is a security monitoring and detection platform designed for IoT devices. It operates through the XGuard embedded agent installed on devices and provides continuous security visibility and detect-and-response capabilities. The platform detects IoT-specific security incidents including command injection and access manipulation, and generates security indicators to support root cause analysis of suspicious behavior. It is designed to work within the connectivity constraints typical of IoT environments, using adaptive traffic management to balance local real-time rule enforcement with cloud-level analytics. XGuard Monitor can collect security events from a range of devices and systems and can be deployed either on-premises or in the cloud. It interfaces with security operations centers (SOCs), delivering high-fidelity alerts on abnormal device behavior and supporting rapid incident response. The platform focuses on improving the signal-to-noise ratio for SOC analysts to reduce investigation and resolution time.
