Juniper SecIntel is a threat intelligence service that delivers aggregated and verified security data to Juniper network infrastructure devices. The service provides continuously updated threat feeds containing malicious IPs, URLs, certificate hashes, and domain information curated by Juniper Threat Labs. SecIntel distributes threat intelligence to SRX Series firewalls, MX Series routers, Juniper wireless access points, and EX Series and QFX Series switches. The service enables organizations to identify, monitor, and block known threats at multiple network enforcement points including firewalls, WAN edge, and across wired and wireless networks. The platform supports infected host feeds that track all known compromised hosts on a network. Organizations can incorporate custom threat feeds from third-party sources to address industry-specific threat mitigation requirements. Threat log data generated by SecIntel can be forwarded to Juniper Secure Analytics as well as third-party SIEM and log management solutions for centralized security monitoring and analysis. SecIntel operates as part of Juniper's threat-aware network architecture, extending threat prevention capabilities beyond traditional edge security devices to create network-wide protection against known malicious actors and infrastructure.
