EdgeWave iPrism 25h is a web filtering appliance that provides policy-driven web security for organizations. The appliance is part of the h-Series line and comes in a 1U rack-mountable form factor. The 25h model features a Core i3-540 3.06GHz processor with 4GB DDR3 memory and dual 500GB SATA drives with RAID configuration. It delivers filtered traffic throughput of 20+ Mbps and handles 300+ transactions per second. The appliance supports up to 500 workstations and retains up to 320 million access event records. The device includes 2 x 10/100/1000 management NICs with 2 x 10/100/1000 full duplex interfaces featuring a bypass circuit for network failover capabilities. It operates with dual hot-swap power supplies rated at 100-240 VAC. The iPrism Web Security software runs on a hardened and optimized operating system integrated into the appliance. The solution enforces acceptable use policies and security policies at the network perimeter. Organizations can use the appliance to control web access, filter content, and defend against internet-based threats. The 25h is positioned for small to medium-sized organizations with bandwidth and access event retention requirements beyond the entry-level 15h model. The appliance operates in temperatures from 10° to 35°C and outputs 1850 BTU per hour maximum.
